Abstract

In a concert on the Daylight Music series in Leytonstone, London, Yonit Kosovske, Xenia Pestova Bennett, and Sarah Groser present a concert featuring contemporary music for harpsichord, toy piano, and viola da gamba—a unique instrumental combination that emerged from Yonit's commission of BAILE/home by Xenia Pestova Bennett, which will be included on the programme, making its London debut, amongst works by other contemporary composers. Yonit will perform the world premiere of Graham Lynch's "Mystic Sun" for solo harpsichord, composed in 2025 for Yonit and recorded on her APRICITY album (2026), featuring contemporary music for solo and collaborative harpsichord.
