Abstract
This chapter reviews the dieless drawing process as applied to metallic rod, tube, bar and wire. The early efforts made to reduce the cross-sectional area of a rod with a basic setup to the utilization of a modern reduction and heating setup to reduce the diameter of a thin wire are reviewed.
