Abstract

A data acquisition system, which interfaces to an interferometric fiber optic pressure sensor, is presented. This system transmits a modulated signal to the sensing interferometer, demodulates the returning interferometric signal by way of Digital Signal Processing, while simultaneously relaying control and signal data via PC based software.
