Abstract

In the article O'Keefe, B., MacDonncha, C., Ng, K., and Donnelly, A. (2020) Health-related fitness monitoring practices in secondary school-based physical education programs. Journal of Teaching in Physical Education 39(1), 59–68, https://doi.org/ 10.1123/jtpe.2018-0336, an incorrect statistic was used by mistake when discussing results. In the original publication of this article, on page 62 under the subheading “Monitoring Practices,” the first two sentences read, “Just over three quarters of the teachers (78%) indicated that they kept a record of their students’ results. However, only 11.9% of the teachers monitored their students’ HRPF test scores from Years 1 (13 years) to 6 (18 years).” These sentences have been changed to use the correct statistic and read, “Over half (51.7%) of teachers surveyed discarded test results after a single use. Only 11.9% of teachers monitored their students’ HRPF test scores from Years 1 (13 years) to 6 (18 years).” The online version of this article has been corrected.
