Abstract
This chapter presents the ethical implications related to designing a large language model like ChatGPT. Language models are based on different processing to generate human-like text and content. With many benefits, these systems have some complexities related to ethical questions, privacy bias, manipulation, and societal impact. This chapter discusses the various aspects of language model ethics implications, including the potential misuse of content complications of biases and the impact of social disclosure. This chapter also discusses the transparency and accountability requirements to develop AI tools for the real world. This chapter examines some of the ethical concerns related to policies and the stakeholder’s contributions. This chapter also presents some suggestions to integrate AI systems to improve security and privacy concerns and to improve overall system security. This chapter will help and provide a complete guideline to the stakeholders to navigate the ethical challenges existing in the language model especially to design the new AI models.
