Abstract

In the domain of security, hardware device security becomes significant in recent times. Hardware security is not similar to cybersecurity, information security or software security. With the passage of time and awareness, the research area is converging towards hardware security. Many researchers are currently working on it. The research domain of this evolving field includes threats to hardware devices and components, vulnerabilities in hardware devices, detection mechanisms, and prevention measures. Working on Hardware Trojan insertion and detection techniques, in this paper we are proposing Frequency-based Hardware Trojan (FBHT) in FPGAs.
