Abstract

This chapter presents three individual vignettes by the co-authors that collectively illustrate how person-centred action-orientated research enables individual and cultural transformation through knowing, being and becoming. We have used the cherry blossom tree to frame the chapter and our knowing, being and becoming. The parts of the tree are a means and an end to the growth of the tree and the blossoming of the flowers. Similarly, our knowing, being and becoming share an interdependence and synergy, enabling growth, transformation and flourishing as we experience the world around us through person-centred action-orientated research.
