Abstract

In this case study, an attempt is made to examine how Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group at Cork, Ireland achieved each of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) maturity levels up to level 4 between 1993 and 1997. The critical success factors (CSFs) that CIG's CMM assessment team associated with the achievement of each maturity level as well as those CSFs not achieved are identified.
