Abstract
Ferroelectric nature of textured ceramics of synthetic hydroxyapatite (HA) has been exploited in electrical poling at a relatively lower temperature than what has been used in the past two decades. This polarisation procedure has been extended for textured ceramics of hydroxyapatite/tri-calcium phosphate (70:30) mixture and the stability of piezoelectricity in poled ceramic has been studied.
