Mesenteric component of flexure mobilization

Abstract

The flexures can be understood as comprising four continuous and contiguous structures. Two of these, the peritoneum and colon, are centered on a mesenteric confluence. In conceptualizing flexures in these terms, flexural detachment and resection are greatly simplified and thus reproduced.
