Abstract
The electromagnetic properties and alternate current losses of a high-temperature superconducting tape are represented by two nonlinear diffusion models. The equivalent resistivity of the tape is derived using a power law E-J expression. The E-J characteristics of the tape are, in turn, determined using the Anderson-Kim model describing the flux creep.
