Abstract

Digital video broadcasting for handheld terminals (DVB-H) is a candidate platform for broadcasting wireless billboard channel (WBC) service advertisements to mobile terminals. The transport stream packet error rate (TS-PER) as a basic is employed to measure the performance of the physical lfaaydeinr g ocfh aDnVneBl-Han. dI tnh et hciosr rpesappoenr,d ian g Rfianyilteei gshta-tLeo Mgnaorrkmoavl m(oRdLe)l (FSMM) for analyzing the TS-PER are studied and a new SNR partition algorithm and method are proposed, with relevant FSMM parameters, designed especially for a DVB-H slow fading eonnv iTroSn-PmEeRnt . aTs hrao ufugnhc itti oinn itoiaf l Danoaplpylteicra lf raenqdu esnimcyu laatniodn FrSesMulMts scaling parameter α and fading parameter β are presented.
