Abstract

Receiving Systems is a collaborative series of studies implementing composed structures and real-time interaction between sound and movement. It is inspired by an enquiry into natural order and disorder in movement and sound, and the non-linear nature of our perceptual systems. Presented as part of the first anniversary celebration of DanceHouse in Dublin on 7 January 2008. This collaboration used MaxMSP coupled with a Lemur OSC touchscreen interface as the primary performance instrument
