Abstract

The following reports offer innovations in occupational therapy practice in Ireland which provide examples of creative approaches to engaging clients in occupations. The ‘Sports for your wellbeing’ project reports a multi-agency initiative through the use of physical activity interventions for isolated clients and pre-discharge clients. The second initiative introduces vocational opportunities into a high security forensic unit with a project which involves caring for hens. The initial project led to engagement of residents in caring for their environment.
