Abstract

Nonlinear power amplifier (PA) behavioural modelling issues of high crest factor multicarrier signal representations and intermodulation distortion reduction benefits of linearisation are addressed in this paper. The system context is an IEEE 802.11 a air-interface and a pHEMT solid state PA (SSPA) with several degrees of linearisation applied.
