RNAi in viral control and diagnostics

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This chapter explores the potential of RNA interference (RNAi) in the treatment and diagnosis of viral diseases. It discusses the mechanisms of RNAi, including siRNA and miRNA, and their applications in inhibiting viral replication and disrupting essential viral proteins. The chapter highlights successful case studies and clinical trials of RNAi-based therapies against various viruses, including respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), influenza, and Hepatitis B virus (HBV).
