Abstract
A study is made of the scattering of a monochromatic internal wave over random bottom irregularities in a stratified flow. Within the framework of the Hamiltonian approach an equation for determining the time dependence of the scattered-wave amplitude is derived. It is shown that within a certain range of internal wave vectors the scattered-wave amplitude can increase in time.
