Abstract

Getting ready to talk on this panel has been a lovely experience for me and it’s given me the chance to look back and remember some of my childhood goals. These goals have really come into being during my time at the Irish World Academy, both as a student and now as a teacher. I think all of those experiences can be summed up in one single contradictory fact. My being here at the Academy was both entirely accidental and completely inevitable.
