Abstract
A survey of the Irish electronics manufacturing industry was conducted during the summer of 1995, whereby a detailed questionnaire was circulated to 100 companies. The questionnaire concentrated on the manufacturung process with particular emphasis being placed on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process problems.
