SnSb as a long cycle life anode material for sodium-ion batteries enabled by a high concentration electrolyte

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The performance of a SnSb Na-ion battery anode composed of nanolayers of Sn and Sb is reported, wherein the cycle life was significantly enhanced by the use of a high concentration electrolyte. Long term galvanostatic (dis)charge testing with capacity of 378 mA h g−1 after 1500 cycles was achieved. Dendritic Cu was used to facilitate increased mass loading while maintaining improved capacity retention.
