Abstract

Cocrystallization of [M(CO)33-OH)]4 (M = Mn, Re) with the linear difunctional H-bond acceptor molecules 1,4-diaminobenzene and 4,4′-bipyridyl affords, respectively, twofold and fourfold tetragonally distorted super-diamondoid networks that contain microchannels which enclathrate acetonitrile.
