Abstract

The pervasive integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across diverse fields continues to enhance performance and streamline operations. However, the importance of human knowledge in AI-aided research can’t be unnoticed. This chapter examines the significance of human knowledge in AI-aided research, highlighting the complementary relationship between human intelligence and AI algorithms. This chapter illustrates how human specialists offer vital guidance, interpretation, and decision-making within the research process. Human expertise expresses area knowledge, vigorous thinking, and contextual understanding that are critical for ensuring significant and dependable research outcomes. This chapter stresses that AI algorithms should be seen as tools to enhance human abilities rather than replace them. The collaboration among human beings and AI in research needs more accuracy in results to provide new possibilities for innovation and discovery. This chapter also explores the significance of human expertise and its integration with AI technologies in the research process. As AI keeps evolving, spotting and leveraging the position of human knowledge could be vital for maximizing the capability of AI-aided studies.
