Abstract
The concept of using the IEEE 802.16-based broadband wireless access network as a carrier technology for Wireless Billboard Channels (WBCs) is introduced. General ideas on the implementation of WBCs in the framework of IEEE 802.16 air-interface and corresponding estimation for the mean access time are presented.
