N2 - This paper addresses the issues of wireless billboard channels (WBCs) introduced as instruments to facilitate service advertisement, discovery and association (ADA) in ubiquitous consumer wireless world (UCWW) business environments. A service discovery model, based on the use of WBCs, is proposed. The format of the WBCs is presented, making reference to service types and templates. Possible data scheduling / indexing schemes and carrier technologies for WBCs are also explored.
